The Daughters of St. Paul Education Fund begins a new year of education funding for the sisters of our community. We are already accepting donations and registrations for our third annual Afternoon Tea in September, which will kick off the seasonal campaign, this time for 2012.
Sharing the Gospel in a digital age requires of us a comprehensive initial and ongoing formation/education in Catholic theology, pastoral studies, technology, administration, language, and the arts.
Currently we are spending nearly $100,000 annually on our sisters’ specialized education. Because of minimal resources, we find ourselves having to “choose between educating our sisters and fixing the roof."
That said, we are looking to raise enough funds by Dec. 31, 2011 to support the education of 12 Daughters of St. Paul currently pursuing their degrees.
