My father saw an older man cooking pork cracklins in a black kettle under an Oak tree one day while working his Rice's Snack Food Route. He began to stop. The older man would bag some and my father would sell the pork cracklins on his route. This was the beginning marketing of what is now known as Lee's Pork Skins, now owned by Rudolph Foods.
In 2006 we has Evans Food make a private label for us names "Mama's Cooking". It is marketed in the Southeast and California. Sales have been growing every year, with expected annual growth.
