In September 2001, Davis Nursing Association was formed as a Non-Profit Corporation d/b/a Davis Life Care Center and has 177 licensed beds. This facility is also known as Davis West. In July 2003, Hazel Street Nursing Association was formed. It is known as Davis East and has 126 licensed beds. In July 2003, Garden Pointe Residential Care was taken over by DNA and has 60 licensed beds. In Spring 2004, it was converted to an Assisted Living Level 2 Facility and continues to operate today. In February 2006, Whispering Knoll was opened, which is an Assisted Living Level 2 facility with 40 apartment units. This facility was built with Federal tax credits and developed for low to mid-level income senior citizens. In January 2011, The Gardens at Whispering Knoll was opened as an Assisted Living Level 2 facility with 40 apartment units. The facility was built through the Federal Stimulus Program and was developed for Medicaid qualified senior citizens.
