Decorum is a supervision group intended for early career medical social workers, co-facilitated by Gioia Gonzalez MSW, LICSW (Seattle Children’s Hospital) and Tiffany Courtnage MSW, LICSW (Seattle Cancer Care Alliance). Decorum’s commitment to continuous learning and professional development aims to deliver the highest standard of medical social work practice. Gioia and Tiffany both graduated from the University of Washington School of Social Work in 2007 and are supervision certified. This collaborative partnership draws from combined experience in oncology, palliative care, pediatric chronic care, child abuse/neglect, family violence, mental health and generalized medical social work practice, and is strengthened by core values of social justice, compassion, and ethics.
