Pelly's Mini-Golf
Have fun while learning about the ocean as you play Pelly's Ocean Adventure and Pelly's Surfin' Safari, two 18-hole mini golf courses featuring life-like marine animals and holes themed after local surf breaks. The courses were designed in cooperation with the Surfrider Foundation and Birch Aquarium at Scripps to not only entertain, but also educate participants about one of our most precious resources, the ocean. Multiple signs spread throughout the courses educate golfers on the various forms of marine life depicted throughout the course, the history of surfing and numerous conservation and recycling facts.
Pelly's Ocean Adventure course features unique, life-like sculptures of sea animals such as an octopus, sea lions, sharks and California gray whales, which were created by local artisan Gerry Kirk. It took him nearly a year to design the 20 animal sculptures.
Pelly's Surfin' Safari begins with the birthplace of surfing, Hawaii, and progresses to local San Diego surf breaks.
Pelly's Mini Golf also is open for birthday parties, company team-building opportunities, groups (with group discounts) and many other events.
