DMJC2 is lead by Pastor Jamel Moore

Pastor Jamel Moore was born In Brooklyn New York in 1976. Growing up in Brooklyn during the 80’s was a challenge so his family relocated to Atmore Al. when he was 13 years old. In Atmore his parents began attending church and introduced Jamel to a lifestyle that would ultimately shape his future. Although his mother passed away when he was only 16 he remained focused and Graduated from Escambia County High School in 1995. He then was awarded a drama scholarship at Jefferson Davis Community College were he graduated with an associates degree. At the age of 19 the seed that was planted by his parents begin to grow and overtake him so he dedicated his life to the lord.

Jamel immediately became active at his church Deliverance Ministry of Jesus Christ under the leadership of Apostle Hattie Bishop. He was very busy as an Assistant Musician, Choir Director, Youth Sunday School Teacher, Deacon and Trustee. At the age of 23 he accepted his call into the ministry and served as an associate minister along with his other duties. Head Musician, Choir President and Adult Sunday School teacher. Jamel eventually added church treasurer and program designer to his list of responsibilities. He also obtained bachelors in theology from E.L. White Theological Seminary in 2005. At this point he didn’t realize that all these responsibilities were the lord’s way of preparing him for a greater calling. In April 2009 at the age of 32 the lord called Jamel into pastor ship, and he became Pastor of Deliverance Ministry of Jesus Christ II
Pastor Jamel Moore has 3 children Jamel , Jayla ,& Mariah.
