Denver Police District 1

District 1 has an authorized personnel strength of 130 police officers. Besides the patrol officers who respond to radio calls, special services are provided to the community including: Criminal Investigations, School Resource Officers (SRO), Community Resource Officers (CRO), two Special Crime Attack Teams (SCAT) and a Narcotics Unit.
Also assigned to the District are: 1 Commander, 4 Lieutenants, 14 Sergeants, and 16 Field Training Officers (Corporals) who supervise and train new recruit officers.
District 1 Patrol Officers work three shifts with staggered roll calls to ensure maximum coverage during periods with peak calls for service.
