Department of Communication, University of Louisiana at Lafayette

The Department of Communication offers Bachelor of Arts degrees in:
- journalism
- advertising
- public relations
- broadcasting, and
- organizational communication

In addition, the department offers a Master of Science in Communication.

Our undergraduate mass communication and public relations programs are accredited by ACEJMC, the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications. Our communication undergraduate programs are designed so students will learn the skills they need to adapt in an ever-evolving media landscape and gain a strong foundation in verbal, written, and visual communication.

Our graduate programs emphasize theory and research methods. Our master's in communication program prepare students for professional advancement, career change, or the pursuit of doctoral studies.
