We are a family run business, formed in 1991 and located in the heart of historic downtown Essex, along Connecticut’s southern coast. Over the past 50 years, DePaula family jewelry stores have grown and flourished; with stores in Connecticut and across the state of Florida.

In 1999, with over 25 years experience, the vision for De Paula Jewelers Essex location was realized by Philip DePaula, owner and founder. He took his years of expertise in the fine art of jewelry design and creation and opened this new location.

As a family run business, we have assembled a network of dealers, re-sellers and clients to provide the highest quality materials at the most competitive prices. We have eliminated the middle man, to push the savings off to you, our customers.
