The DePauw University School of Music has an established tradition of educating leaders in virtually every facet of music, including performers, educators, composers and administrators.
With more than 150 concerts, recitals and master classes each year and a full range of ensembles, DePauw students enjoy many opportunities to learn their art through performance. The School of Music offers majors in performance, music education, music business and music with a second major in the College of Liberal Arts.
The School of Music is located in the Green Center for the Performing Arts. The GCPA houses three performance halls, faculty studios, practice and rehearsal rooms, the Music Library, the Music Instructional Technology Center, and a recording studio for student and faculty use. The GCPA also features state-of-the-art environmental controls and soundproof architecture.
