Derek's Tile & Painting was started from the love of laying ceramic tile and working with my hands. After 10 years of working in the trade and becoming very skilled, I would reflect on my work for these "big box" companies, where often, I would be required to collect payment from the customers. I would be shocked to see what people were being charged for even just a small bathroom and it really bothered me. So I decided to start a business in my area of expertise of laying ceramic tile, vinyl tile, LVT, VCT, and Vinyl Plankwood, as well as, doing various painting jobs at a low reasonable cost for my community because I love what I do and I feel everyone should be able to make their home beautiful at an affordable cost. Hence my slogan, "A Quality Job For A Great Price". Since the start of the company, I have had a wonderful response from the community and an increase for the use of my services. I have continued to provide top quality work for an affordable cost because not only is it my business motto but it is also the right thing to do.
