As a local family owned business, Designs by Darenda has been serving the South Miami-Dade area with exceptional floral creations and gifts since 1977.
With over twenty years experience in the floral industry and designated a Certified Master Designer, Darenda guides the daily operations of the business and ensures that all customer orders exceed the highest quality standards. Respected within the industry, Darenda serves as President of the Florida State Florist’s Association. In 2012 she was awarded the Florida State Florists' Association Presidents Award and in 2013 the Harry J. Killian Award. In 2013 Darenda was inducted in the American Academy of Floriculture. Designs by Darenda has been chosen "Best Of Weddings" by The Knot Magazine for 3 consecutive years and has won the "Couples Choice" award by Wedding Wire.
