Devils Lake Underpass Project

The new underpass will replace the old underpass located near the intersection of 6th St. and College Drive. Construction will begin in May of 2017 and will be open to traffic in October of 2018. The project is a cooperative effort between NDDOT, BNSF and the City of Devil's Lake.

Construction will consist of installation of a temporary bridge, and subsequent replacement with a new permanent bridge. This work includes general roadway and intersection improvements of College Drive and 6th St. NE. These construction efforts will aid motorists during peak driving hours and improve roadway safety in the area.
