Dia de los Muertos at the Old Mission San Luis Rey

Dia represents the festivities between the living and the dead. It is a time to honor the loved ones who have passed onto the next life. We celebrate the dead through traditional marigold altars, native Oaxacan dances and entertainment, Dia arts, crafts and food vendors, traditional breads, a chalk cemetary and a carnival for the whole family.
