Diamond H Ranch

Diamond H is the only barn in Anchorage with both a heated indoor arena and a competition size outdoor jumping ring. Additionally, we have two generous turn-out areas, round pen, wash rack and individual paddocks for each horse. Entry into the Ruth Arcand Park trail system takes about five minutes, with no paved road crossings. The Chamberlin Equestrian Center is another five minute trail ride upon entering the Park. Diamond H has the best of all horse worlds: heated indoor riding, outdoor arena riding and trail riding. Established in 1959, we encourage you to tour our facilities for your future boarding and training needs.

Diamond H Ranch, also known as the Anchorage Equestrian Center, is located at 4631 O’Malley Road in Anchorage next door to the Alaska Zoo. Established in 1959, it is the oldest and largest boarding stable in Alaska. The present owner, Linda McQueary, has lived and worked on the premises since the barn was built.Linda continues to manage the barn and instruct horse riding lessons.

The Mission Statement of Diamond H Ranch is to provide a safe and enjoyable horse community centrally located in the Anchorage southcentral region. Hundreds of novice horse riders have been successfully trained with Linda along with the various trainers who call Diamond H Ranch their equestrian home.
