DiDi & Smiling John's traditional Barber Shop

We are a husband and wife owned salon and traditional barber shop offering services ranging from a full head of highlights to a straight razor face shave. Ladies will be serviced by DiDi (Devon) Shilling who has been hairdressing in the York County area for over 14 years, Seren Erb, and Barry Schmidt. Fellas will go on over, grab a beer (complimentary of course), and hang out with Jason McGarry and Smiling John who has barbered all around York county and who most recently worked at the barber shop named the best barber shop in Philadelphia and Montgomery County. You will be greeted by a vintage decor to give you that old time feeling when going to the Barber Shop and Beauty Shop were part of the weekly routine. There will always be free beverages and lots to look at. We'd also like to offer our customers FREE CHANGE FOR PARKING!!! The parking for our shop is on street meter parking but is NEVER FULL and will rarely if ever require parallel parking. We will have a change jar in the shop if you need change for the meters. There is also a lot right next door.

Smiling John Shilling and Jason McGarry offer traditional to modern haircuts of all eras. Fades, flat tops, military cuts, whiskey companys, kids cuts, and straight razor face shaves. Their goal is to bring back the old barber shop feel and return the barber shop atmosphere to what it should have always been. A comfortable place where you can have a laugh, a beer, and a good conversation.

Devon "DiDi" Shilling, Seren, and Barry have extensive knowledge in color, corrective color, gray coverage, highlighting techniques, texture cutting, modern precision scissor cuts, razor cuts, and much more. From mild to wild they get the job done RIGHT the first time!!! They love what they do and you can see it in their work.
