Discover Delaware Bay

Initially funded by a Rural Business Enterprise Grant from the USDA; the www.disccoverdeleawrebay.org website is meant to build NJ's Delaware Bayshore region as a major Eco/heritage/agri Tourism destination. The Natural, historic and cultural resources of the area are globally significant but have been traditionally undervalued.

We'd like to see more locals and more visitors enjoy these assets and bring vitality to the region by promoting local businesses, enhancing the visitor experience and packaging collaborative opportunities to make it easier to pick the right weekend (or weekday) to visit, learn when festivals are being staged, where to get a bite to eat, where and when the best wildlife viewing is, where to stay, where to get provisions and to know how to navigate the back roads for the best Bayshore experience.

We welcome calendar additions, suggestions, improvements, photos, links, partnerships and reviews of Bayshore experiences.

We hope to build a gallery of photographic evidence of people enjoying the Bayshore region - come play and share!
