Our Mission
D & R Turning Point, Inc. Discovered Treasures Thrift Store is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Foster Youth, by providing them with Housing, Independent Living Skills Training, Employment and Educational Assistance.

Our goal is to reduce homelessness among the foster youth community, help them to maintain permanent housing and to become self-sufficient.

Who we Are

D & R Turning Point, Inc. was founded in 1999 to provide foster youth with an opportunity to exit the foster care systems successfully, by providing a safe living environment and life skills to help maintain self-sufficiency. We believe that every child, regardless of their background, given the opportunity, has the potential to excel and become successful, caring individuals.
