Discovery Preserve

Discovery Preserve is a fantastic community resource designed to help children interact with the natural world, while providing close-to-home outdoor recreational resources to people of all ages. Home to a short, ADA accessible trail, a pond with a lookout deck, seasonal restroom facility, picnic benches, the Chippewa Nature Center Pavilion, and more, Discovery Preserve is a great home for family fun. In 2016, we will be developing a new nature playground with boulders for climbing, tunnels for crawling, and a collection of exciting nature-based play primers for kids. Discovery is also home to a regular series of programs conducted free-of-charge by Chippewa Nature Center. Get outside and find yourself here at home!
