Divepoint Scuba Paddle & Adventure Center

1981- Peter Butt (Bob’s older brother) started Central Wisconsin’s first PADI (Professional Association of Die Instructors) Dive Center located in Hunter’s Corner Main St Downtown Stevens Point.

1985 Bob officially took over the Dive Center and opened Divepoint Scuba on Post Road in Plover. A few months after opening he met Carrie, they were married in 1987. Divepoint relocated 3 times in the Plover area.

1990 Divepoint moved to Isadore Street.

1999 Carrie and Bob wanted to sell kayaks, but they did not have the space. So they returned to Historic Downtown at 944 Main Street.

2012 Divepoint expanded into the Wausau area at 106 E Wausau Ave, on the beautiful Wisconsin River.

Divepoint has evolved into an outdoor adventure center with scuba, snorkeling, kayaking, swimwear and climbing equipment.

Divepoint remains your full service PADI Dive Center with over 30 years experience and expertise. We carry the areas largest selection of high quality diving and snorkeling equipment.

Our instructors teach Scuba and Kayaking classes year round for beginners to specialty courses, in a variety of locations through out central Wisconsin.
