Pastor Mertis M. Bartley II is an anointed, appointed, dynamic deliverer of the word of God. Pastor Bartley Was born in Dallas, Texas where he was raised by Pastor L.B. Bartley and Margie Bartley.

Pastor Bartley has been married to the love of his life, Co-Pastor Evangelist Stella Bartley for 25 years. To their union gave birth to two children, Alma Rene Bartley, a senior majoring in social work at Stephan F. Austin State University and Minister Mertis M. Bartley III, a sophomore majoring in Kinesiology at Lon Morris College.
Pastor Bartley studied at D. Erwin Theology Seminary, in dallas, tx where soon after he was called in 1995 to pastor Mount Olive Community Church in Rusk, Texas. For the past 16 years, Pastor Bartley has taught and preached the undying Word of God to the lost and the saved.
Upon Relocating to East Texas, Pastor Bartley has been blessed to obtain employment at the Hampton’s Premier Retirement Community as Asst. Maintenance Director and currently at the Christian based Meadow Lake Senior Living Community as Asst. Maintenance Director .
Pastor Bartley is now leading several ministries and young adults into their divine purpose and destiny. Pastor Bartley is the founder, sponsor, and participates in several ministries in East Texas. He is the president and founder of Men of Standard at Mount Olive Community Church, sponsor & mentor Of M.O.C.C. Youth in Christ youth department, vice-president of Men of Vision Founded By Bishop Dr. James L. Berry, sponsor for Worshippers United Young, Pastor Mertis Bartley along with his wife Co-Pastor Stella Bartley is a covenant pastor with Bishop Dr. James L. Berry and Bishop Dr. Mabel L. Berry at New Birth Church of The Living God Jacksonville & Tyler, Texas. Co-Pastor Bartley is also the vice-president of the Women of Excellence Ministries founded by Bishop Dr. Mabel L. Berry.

Pastor Bartley possesses a down to earth and Godly charm that makes him sought after as a counselor and mentor. He simply has the unique ability of connecting with people of all ages and from diverse ethnic backgrounds.



Evangelist Stella Bartley was born in Dallas, Texas, the city where the sun is always shining. She is the daughter of Walter & Thelma Bagley. Evangelist Stella Bartley attended Samuel High School in Dallas, Texas. She also graduated from El Centro College with an associates in Business and Kilgore College with a certification in Assisted Living Management.

Evangelist Stella Bartley is happily married to Pastor Mertis M. Bartley II(25 years) and has two children; Alma Rene Bartley,24(Senior at Stephen F. Austin State University & Minister Mertis M. Bartley III,21(Sophomore at Lon Morris College).

Evangelist Stella Bartley is the co-pastor of Mount Olive Community Church where she is founder of the Women of Divine Destiny Society. She is the sponsor for the Mount Olive Community Church Youth In Christ youth department and the dance choreographer for the DIVAS of Praise. Evangelist Stella Bartley along with Pastor Bartley is a covenant pastor with Bishop Dr. James L. Berry and Bishop Dr. Mabel L.
