Dizon Farms

DIZON FARMS started its operations in 1960 and is one of the pioneer of the local fruit industry. It planted several types of citrus products and became very successful with its pomelos. It also grows and exports cavendish bananas to countries in Asia. The Dizon Group of companies has farms in Davao, Pampanga, and Mindoro Occidental.

To date, 167 supermarkets carry our products. These include SM, Robinsons, Ever, Waltermart, Shopwise, South Supermarket and Puregold chains of supermarkets, The Landmark, Pioneer Center, Rustans Supermarket, Makati Supermarket Alabang, Unimart, Cash & Carry and Sta. Lucia East Supermarket.

The company is able to supply these stores efficiently because it has direct purchasing/buying and close link growers in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. It is strong in sourcing local fruits because its roots are in Davao. It also has a very long and good relationship with the local importers as well as its foreign suppliers.

At present, it has a fleet of more than 81 delivery trucks to deliver its products. The company has established aggressive quality controls, refrigerated and non refrigerated storage facilities, as well as a well trained labor force. Periodic training seminars have allowed the company to develop a well trained supervisory force which helps in maintaining the predetermined display patterns and quality control down to retail level. Its primary aim is to maintain the quality and dependability for which the products of DIZON FARMS logo are known for.

The management envisions the company to be the biggest consolidator of fresh fruits and vegetables in the Philippines.
