DK Associates provides educational services to schools, families and students regarding boarding school placements, college counseling, summer programs and therapeutic placements for teens in trouble at their schools. DK Associates provides a unique service to boarding schools throughout New England and beyond with suspension and dismissal support. We will arrange to pick up your student on short notice, bring that student to our two large homes in Cherryfield, Maine and provide them mentoring, supervision, counseling and substance abuse education and intervention. In the case of dismissals, we can provide next-step placements to other schools or speciality and therapeutic schools and programs as appropriate. This service provides families and schools peace of mind when it is not appropriate or possible to send the student home for the suspension. About half our clients are international students. DK Associates provides "homestay" and "respite" services to schools and families for student vacation periods. A special Sumer School program is offered in August for new and returning international students targeted especially to Chinese students. There is a limit of three students who will benefit from an English language literacy professional with the goal of establishing a "funtional" foundation in English and in the practical application for initial survival in an American boarding school.

DK Associates provides pro bono sevices to local Maine students in need of post-secondary guidance and other services but lacking the resources or family support to access them.
