DMA Martial Arts is a system of martial arts that not only focuses on a fast effective form of self-defense, but also on the importance of character development and family.
Through a foundational set of ethics that we refer to as the "Principles of Conduct” (Effort, Etiquette, Self-Control, Sincerity, and Character) we teach our students strategies and solutions for dealing with and avoiding conflict. In addition to conflict resolution we strive to teach our students to be better people and to be a positive influence in society everywhere they go.
Our system teaches traditional training in kicks, strikes, blocks and kata (forms) using a realistic and street practical situational awareness program.
We have offered classes in the Newton community for over a decade at the West Suburban YMCA. We will continue there on Tuesdays and Thursdays while we branch out into our NEW location at 385 Boston Post Road in Sudbury, MA. The Sudbury location will be opening in early January 2015.
