Doane Academy

Founded in the Episcopal tradition, Doane Academy's college preparatory curriculum challenges students to develop leadership and character. At Doane Academy students are known, loved and encouraged to reach their full, unique potential.

Students have every opportunity to develop themselves academically, athletically, in arts and music, and through extra curricular activities. They are challenged to become leaders in outdoor education courses and student government. Many are the alumni who graduate from here and not only thrive but become leaders in their colleges because of the rigorous training they had here. For these reasons our slogan is "The Opportunity Within."

Doane Academy is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and the Association of Delaware Valley Independent Schools (ADVIS). The school is accredited through Middle States.

The Spartans compete in inter-scholastic athletics through the Penn-Jersey League. All high school students must play at least one sport and no one gets cut. Spartan squads have won three softball and one soccer championship in the past four years.
