Dogsmartz uses non-aversive, positive training methods with all of our students. We use no pain, fear, force or intimidation. We don't believe in using choke collars, prong collars or shock collars and don't allow them in our facility. Our motivators include but are not limited to praise, toys, treats and life rewards.

We don't believe you ever have to hurt a dog to train them. We welcome any and all breeds and personalities.

Owner, Jenny Falvey (former co-owner of The Learning Dog) and her team have over 25 years experience working with dogs and offer clients a variety of options to help achieve their training goals.

We specialize in working with behavior issues such as fear, aggression and anxiety and no dog is ever turned away. We pride ourselves on helping our students thru every step of the way on their training journey. Whether you are looking for obedience or manners training or struggling with a more serious issue like aggression, we can help. Through group classes, private training or our “drop off and train” service, we will find something to fit your needs.
