DOMA Theatre Company

Through its partnership with the Foundation, DOMA was able to stage several works including new works (Lovers’ Mayhem, Gallery) revivals (Cabaret, Into The Woods, etc), plays (Actor’s Nightmare and Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All) and was proud to stage the Hollywood debuts of Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party and in 2011 Sondheim’s Passion.

DOMA’s vision has extended and in addition to its partnership with the Foundation, it has began talks with The American New Musical Theatre company to develop a complex that will provide the Los Angeles audiences with Broadway type works. DOMA’s complex will provide 99-seat productions and larger house productions both for young talent and seasoned talent. DOMA’s complex will include a sound studio, dance studio, rehearsal spaces, underground parking lot, coffee house and housing to artists.

DOMA will continue to serve the Los Angeles audiences by bringing them professional works and also works filled with young talent whom deserve an opportunity to demonstrate their skills. The commitment to expose audiences to live theatre is in the heart of DOMA founders, that is why no proceeds go to the founders, but rather funds are invested in the production, its crew and most of all its talent.
