For almost sixty years, Dominican has symbolized quality Catholic education for the young women of Detroit. Founded in 1940 by the Adrian Dominican Sisters, Dominican High School and now Dominican Academy have educated more than 10,000 young women in the Dominican tradition of academic excellence and spiritual growth. Alumnae include doctors, nurses, lawyers, judges, business owners, homemakers, and community leaders.
