Dominican Sisters of Springfield, Illinois

The Dominican Sisters of Springfield, Illinois are a congregation of vowed Catholic women whose members minister in the United States and Peru.

Our Vision Statement: Committed to living the Dominican charism exemplified by Dominic, Catherine of Siena and other holy women and men, we embrace the courage and trust of our foundresses and respond to the signs of our times.
Confident in God’s ongoing revelation and stirred by prophetic imagination, we preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ from the depth of our communion with God and one another. As vowed Dominican women, we enflesh this Word in our world, a Word we contemplate and celebrate with joy, study attentively, live in community and proclaim in ministry.
