Dorothy's Desserts and Delights

My name is Dorothy and for the past 25 years, I've been designing custom cakes for weddings and other special occasions on a part-time basis. I like creating something magical for my clients and enjoy getting to know their wants and dreams for their cakes during my initial consultation.

I'm a Educational Administrator by day but I've always liked to bake and really began making cakes for others in 1990 as a way to support my 4 girls through university. I furthered my learning by taking additional cake decorating courses. The rest as they say, is cake-history.

My work has always been mainly by word-of-mouth. People like what they see and eat and tell others...but at the pushing or shall I say ~ ahem gentle urging ~ of my family, I've decided to let many more people know about me. Hence this page you're reading now.
