Alexis' Doula Services

It is my heart for every mother to delight in her pregnancy and birthing process. I believe labor is a gift from God and, like all gifts, it is created for our enjoyment and delight. I believe God has fashioned a unique and beautiful birth experience for every mother, and our mission is to discover His vision and partner with Him to see it come to pass. Through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care, I advocate for the mother to experience the goodness and freedom of God though the redemptive work of Jesus’ cross. I believe He wants no mother to suffer but rather be healed, made whole, delivered from fear, and launched into deeper intimacy and encounter with the God of the universe. 1 Timothy 2:15 says, “through childbirth she will be healed”. I believe this is God’s design and destiny for all mothers, and I’m here to co-labor with you alongside Holy Spirit to help bring you into His ever-constant, peaceful presence. It is my job to remind you of what He has spoken over your life. With my services I provide standard doula care which includes helping the mother with breathing, massage, heating/cooling, and effective labor positions that provide rest but are also effective in progressing labor. I will also make sure you as a mother feel comforted, strengthened and empowered throughout pregnancy, labor, and your postpartum adjustment period. I believe no mother should be entangled by postpartum depression and will connect you with the resources you both physically and spiritually need to assure a smooth transition into motherhood.
