Beauty, Serenity, Recreation - three words to sum up the experience at Down By the River Campground. Our manicured campground is centrally located in scenic Avery County, North Carolina on the banks of the Linville River. We offer camping sites for tenting, trailers, 5th wheel campers, and motorhomes over 45'. We are 1 mile to the Blue Ridge Parkway in Pineola with easy access to attractions in the high country.
