Dr. Kristin's Chiropractic

Dr. Kristin Jacobsen is passionate about what she does. She believes in empowering each patient with the knowledge of not only how their body works, but how they can help it work better themselves, in addition to the complete care she offers. She approaches her adjustments by addressing the soft tissue as well as the spine. She takes her time to relax the involved musculature allowing for an easier adjustment that lasts much longer. She views the body as a whole, rather than simply treating parts.

Dr. Kristin is also a fitness and nutrition expert-firmly believing that both are a lifestyle, not a fad. She's an avid runner and won a 2007 body building competition, first place amateur division, at 37 years old. She understands food and fitness and can deliver a realistic comprehension for the athlete to the geriatric patient. She offers in-home cooking classes and supermarket walk-throughs that enable an individual to be empowered to make their body the temple it was created to be.

In addition, Dr. Kristin has a state-of -the-art computerized foot scanner. It takes both static and motion images of the foot and it's gait allowing for a custom fit orthotic to be created. This is invaluable for runners or people who stand on their feet for much of the day. And better yet, she offers them at a truly reasonable rate.
