Dr. Mostafa Barakzoy, DDS - Family Dentistry

Dr. Barakzoy graduated from UCLA school of Dentistry in 1996. After attending Navy Officer Indoctrination School at New Post Rhode Island, he began his General Practice Residency at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. Upon completion of his Residency Program, he served at numerous duty stations overseas and in the US as a Dental Officer. Dr. Barakzoy received numerous commendation, and medals while serving in the US Navy for his exemplary service.

In the year 2000 while serving in Monterey Naval Post Graduate School, he was ranked #1 lieutenant in the Naval Dental Center San Diego (navy's largest dental command) He was honorably discharged from Active Duty with Rank of Lieutenant Commander. Dr. Barakzoy's decision to leave active duty stemmed from his desire to serve the community and the underserved amongst us.

Dr. Barakzoy served as Dental Director for CSVS Health Center in Salinas, CA and continues to serve as Dental Director in Brookside Health Center at San Pablo CA. His tenure has been marked by increasing access and quality of care, improving infrastructure of the clinics, and creating systems to improve access and quality of service to the community.
