----Smartmouth Brewing Company is a brewery located along the Elizabeth River in the West Ghent neighborhood of Norfolk, Virginia. Smartmouth was founded in 2012. It has released over 18 unique styles of beer in the first year and a half of business in its 20-barrel brewhouse. In the brewery's first two years, its beers won four awards: 3 in Virginia competitions and 1 nationally, at the Great American Beer Festival. Smartmouth experienced over 100% growth from 2013 to 2014 and expects similar growth between 2014 and 2015, making it an example of the expanding craft beer industry in Hampton Roads, Virginia.BeersSmartmouth beers are available on draft at many local bars and restaurants and in the Smartmouth Tasting Room. Three flagship beers are available for purchase in 12 oz cans: Alter Ego Saison, Murphy's Law American Amber, and Rule G IPA. There are also many limited batch releases.
