Drayton Glassworks

Founded in 2001, Drayton Glassworks is owned and operated by master glassblower Jonathan Poirier. After receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Poirier studied glassblowing at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts and was awarded a three-year apprenticeship under Master Jan Erik Ritzman at Transjo Hyatta in Sweden. Poirier has held teaching positions at Pilchuck Glass School, Penland School of Crafts, and Haystack. His work has been the subject of solo exhibitions across the country and can be found in private collections all over the world.
At Drayton Glassworks, you can watch us blow during our daily demos, buy directly from the artists, and even take a glassblowing class of your own!
