I love taking old wood and transforming it into something beautiful~

I've always loved wooden, rustic decor. Every time I walk into an antique shop, thrift store, or any store for that matter, I'm constantly looking for old pieces of furniture that I can restore and use in my home. Then I got the idea of making rustic wooden signs from old wood after chalk painting and distressing my kitchen cabinets. I started off by making Fall signs during the harvest season from old pallet wood that was about to be thrown away in the dumpster. I loved making them so much that I decided to make a business out of it! Each sign is stenciled, hand painted, and sanded in its own unique way. My husband cuts every board for me, nails them togther, and even helps me stencil the letters on my signs. :) I can't express the joy I feel after taking a beat up, useless piece of wood, and transforming it into a beautiful, rustic piece. I know I'll be working on these projects for many years to come!
