Drum Pirates Tackle

Drum Pirates was created by a couple of country boys that got their first taste of drum fishing in 1989 at the age of 15 with their dad at “The Point” in Buxton, North Carolina. Depending on which one of us tell the story, my twin brother Chris or my Dad Perry or myself the details that transpired that night differ, however the end result remains the same. On that night, we caught 3 drum that weighted between 25 and 45 lbs and we have been searching for the “Big Ones” ever since. The Drum Pirates Apparel is a product of our love for the Pirates of North Carolina and Red Drum fishing at the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
