The Student Success Center(formally known as the Alcohol & Other Drug Office) was founded in 1996 following a year of research and planning with student and staff focus groups. The mission of Dakota State University's Student Success Center remains unchanged: to develop a comprehensive system of resources - offering access to a full continuum of student based services - aimed at reducing the negative and harmful effects that alcohol and other drug use have on student persistence, retention and academic success.

Inquiries regarding our service offerings, confidential consultations about specific issues, or group presentations covering a wide range of subject matters are welcome.
