Dundee Fire Department is a combination department. This means we have paid personnel manning the station during normal business hours 7 days a week. After normal business hours, we rely on volunteers to answer emergency calls during the night. We respond to all fire related emergencies, vehicle crashes, medical emergencies and other calls for service within the Town of Dundee. We also have a mutual aid agreement with Polk County Fire Rescue and Winter Haven Fire Department should the need arise where we need outside assistance or we are needed to provide assistance to either of those departments. Our paid personnel are all state certified firefighters as well as state certified EMTs or paramedics. Our volunteers are also required to have a certain level of training before they are released and allowed to respond to emergency calls.
Dundee Fire Department is actively seeking new members. One must be 18 years of age or older, live within 5 miles of the station and have reliable transportation. If interested, please come by and speak to one of the on duty personnel during normal business hours or there is a weekly meeting at 19:30 hours (7:30pm) every Monday night excluding holidays. We look forward to adding you to our team!
