What We Believe:
We believe in the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in salvation and life eternal through repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior. We believe in the Bible as the holy word of God recorded by the prophets, by God inspired leaders of the past, and by the apostles of Jesus Christ. We accept the Creeds and Confessions of the Presbyterian Church USA as guides in our understanding of God's messages to believers. We believe in the power of prayer and the primacy of our Lord's teaching to love God, one another, and self as He loves us.
About Presbyterianism:
The word "Presbyterian" comes from the Greek word "Presbeteros", which is found numerous times in the New Testament and in the Greek translation of the Old Testament. It means Elder. Thus Presbyterian was used to describe a church with a representative form of government ruled by Elders. These Elders are elected by the church members. There are currently several different groups of Presbyterian Churches
