Dutchess Hops

Dutchess Hops is the first commercial Hop Farm in the Hudson Valley and our goal is to be the largest Hop Farm in New York State. In 2013 we planted 4000 Hills on 4 Acres and by 2015 we will be looking to expand to 15 Acres. This year we will be planting Cascade, Centennial, Alpharoma and Newport. We will also be planting a trial area which will include 100 plants consisting of Saaz, Willamette, Ultra, Perle, Fuggle, Liberty, sterling and teamaker. All of our plants are cuttings from Washington States' Disease free plant program. We will be practicing all organic methods on the farm. My Farm, Eastern View Nursery is Home to Dutchess Hops.
