Eagle Flyer

Get ready for an Adirondack adrenaline rush like no other, with the launch of the Lake George Region’s newest and most exhilarating attraction — The Eagle Flyer zip line, opening soon on French Mountain.

Starting at the summit, you’ll soar above the treetops as high as 125 feet off the ground while speeding down a nearly 1,000-foot vertical drop at 50 miles an hour, before landing gently on a platform.

Flyers can take the three-quarters-of–a-mile journey seated, or if you dare, go head-first, eagle-like, for the best view.

This adventure will provide the thrill of a lifetime, with unsurpassed views of Lake George and the Adirondacks — the views that only the birds enjoy.

There are four zip lines, so you and your friends can race each other. And the fun begins before you even get on the launch platform, as you make the ride up the mountain to the launch point by off-road vehicles from the former Wild West Ranch.
