COMMUNION
As Jesus was preparing for his final hours on this earth, He instituted the Lord's Supper. Matthew 26:17-30 , Mark 14:12-26 , & Luke 22:7-23 describe the meal the Lord had with His disciples and the description of the substance of the breaking of bread during communion.

Jesus chooses to use the Passover meal as a vehicle to establish communion. It is an appropriate parallel to Exodus 12:13 which says, "The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are and when I see the blood, I will pass over you." Both meals commemorate a time of great mercy for God's people.

We believe that the biblical example of taking communion is to take it on the first day of the week, every week ~ Acts 20:7 .

BAPTISM
Who can be baptized? Mark 16:16 says, “Whoever who believes and is baptized will be saved.” We believe that the bible teaches that baptism is available to anyone who is old enough to believe and that baptism must be accompanied by faith in Jesus Christ and repentance of sins.

What is the biblical form of baptism? Here is an example from Acts chapter 8:38-39 And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him. When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing. So we teach that the biblical example of baptism is by immersion.

What does it symbolize? 1 Peter 3:20-21 says… to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God.It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Acts 22:16 - and wash your sins away,
