Eastern Sierra AFSCME

Eastern Sierra AFSCME (American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees) strengthens our voice as public employees, enabling us to better advocate for our families and our communities.

Eastern Sierra AFSCME is composed of two union locals: Inyo County Employees Association (ICEA) Local 315 represents employees of Inyo County, Inyo County Superior Court, and Northern Inyo Healthcare District. Local 3291 represents employees of Town of Mammoth Lakes. Together they are part of Council 57, a group of California locals which are part of the American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees, a national union with more than 1.6 million active and retired members.

Eastern Sierra AFSCME locals are governed by a constitution and administered by an elected Executive Board.

We encourage you to get involved with your local Union. The stronger we are, the better we can negotiate for our future as public employees care-taking our communities here in the Eastern Sierra.
