More about Eastgate House of Prayer

We meet every Tuesday evening in Petra's Sanctuary:
7:00 -7:30 Devotional/Soaking Time
7:30-8:15 - Equipping/Teaching
8:15-9:30 - Harp & Bowl Intercession

Our goal is to operate as a 24/7 house of prayer available for the body of Christ to engage consistently in worship and intercession. We believe that this vision is part of the manifestation of the rebuilding of David’s Tabernacle which James spoke about in Acts 15:15-17...”And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written: ‘After this I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will set it up; So that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who are called by My name,’ says the Lord who does all these things.”

So what was David's Tabernacle?

David’s Tabernacle was a place for people to encounter, worship and inquire of God and a place for God to encounter His people as they worshiped on various instruments and prayed. Prophetic musicians were called by King David to worship, pray and prophesy before the Lord night and day. This was David’s desire… that God would be worshiped on earth just as He is in Heaven.

We utilize Harp & Bowl format...

“Harp and Bowl” is the combination of worship and intercession flowing together at the same time and is built around the worship reality of what is happening before God’s throne day and night. In Revelation 5:8, the elders came to Jesus with a “harp and a bowl”. The “harp” speaks of God’s music and worship songs and the “bowl” speaks of intercession or prayers of the saints. It is in this atmosphere of combined worship and intercession that we engage in what we refer to as “God centered” spiritual warfare and are able to come into agreement with God’s heart. As we worship we agree with who God is and as we lift our voices in intercession we agree with God’s heart for personal and regional transformation.
