Ebbo Spiritual Supply

Imagine two anthropologists coming together to create something unique and different. They start with no phone, no business plan, and no bank loans. Add a twenty pound cat, a little magic, a whole lot of love, and you get Ebbo.
The Yoruba word 'Ebbo' means "gift or offering to that which is higher than yourself". My former partner and I were adopted into a Yoruba tribal group located in Nigeria, Africa and, in 1993, out of respect to our adoptive mother, opened a shop named Ebbo Spiritual Supply House. During this period we both taught college part-time, and eventually, in 1998, my partner left to pursue his dream of teaching full-time. Later that same year the business incorporated under single ownership, becoming Ebbo Products Inc., dba Ebbo Spiritual Supply House.
Our love of religion and desire to help people on their path evolved into what Ebbo is today. Our first customer was a Baptist minister, and he still comes in at least once a week to buy his supplies. We provide incense to the Hindu temple in Eads, TN, as well as candles to local churches. All walks of life, ethnicities, and religious backgrounds have come through our doors.
The shop has grown steadily over the years, both in merchandise selection and customer base. However, the philosophies on which Ebbo was founded have remained the same. We do not judge. We believe there is one truth, told in many ways. No one path is any more correct than another, and a person should feel free to follow wherever his inner Spirit leads. Our main goal has always been to help individuals understand the esoteric things of life, and to help people learn how to make things work for them.
