School Trips:
We offer outdoor learning opportunities that meet Ohio's New Learning Standard and are curriculum based.

Fall Festival:
Open to the public Saturdays and Sundays
October 1 -15, 2017

General Information
We will kick off our 4th annual Fall Festival this year. We will offer lots of fun seasonal and educational activities the whole family can enjoy!

Goat Corral and Elevated Play Structure - Watch and feed our friendly herd of goats as they play and frolic on their elevated play structure.
Drainage tile slides – elevated 20’ into the air these slides can be used with a burlap bag.
Petting/Feeding Zone – Get to know our friendly creatures up close and personal. They love attention and yummy grain that is available for purchase near the petting barn.
Interpretive Wood Walk & Scavenger Hunt – unique to ECO Center, explore the woods and learn about Ohio’s native flora and fauna by participating at your own pace in the Scavenger Hunt. Each guest receives guidelines at the entrance.
Mini Zip Line - A great zipping experience for the younger crowd, the 2 mini-zips are geared for guests approximately 3 to 5 feet tall.
Pumpkins – choose your perfect Jack O Lantern or decorative pumpkins and gourds from our huge selection.
Pedal Cart Track -Leg-powered go-carts - We will have miniature Pedal Carts for the younger members of the family.
Staged Photo Opportunities – don’t miss a chance to capture your visit with a photo from one of several themed photo opportunities.
Vintage Tractor Experience – sit atop a 1940's Minneapolis Moline tractor for a picture and a glimpse into our nation’s past.
Flowers, Produce, and Baked-Goods – grown and baked by local farms and community members.
. Concession Stand – yummy homemade goodies will be available for purchase inside the barn.
Fire Pit – sit around a cobble stone fire pit, relax, listen and enjoy. S’mores packets are available for purchase at the concession stand.
Indoor Straw Fort – climb, jump, and play in our raised straw fort located inside the barn.
. ECO Train – Fabricated from scrap metal and reused Coca-Cola syrup barrels. The Barrel Trains - Kids are buckled-in and will enjoy the bumpy ride around the property.
The Corn Box is the equivalent of a giant sandbox...filled with CORN! Kids can take off their shoes and have a blast playing in the bright yellow corn kernels.Roll a Tube - Four foot wide corrugated drainage tubes will be available to roll around in your self-propelled gerbil wheel. They will be big enough for a few friends to roll with you.

Composting Station – learn the ropes of successful composting and see awesome stages of decomposition first hand.
Chicken Run – enjoy watching and feeding our flock of hens.
Reduce – Reuse – Recycle Station – learn fast and creative ways to save our planet and have fun while doing it.

We will have local produce (including pumpkins), homemade goodies and products available for purchase. Come support local vendors!
