Throughout my life, I have had a passion for life adventures. This has included a love for nature as well psychotherapeutic and spiritual growth. Combining these pursuits has led me to working with the healing arts. Helping others to find meaning, connection, healing, and deeper relationships are at the core of my practice.

Life education is an evolving process that can take many forms. My formal education consists of a BS in Economics from Auburn University and MS in Mental Health Counseling from Prescott College. Other educational pursuits include Holistic Lifestyle Courses from The CHEK Institute, personal training from The National Sports And Conditioning Association and various avalanche and mountaineering courses and certifications. Through my travels and immersion in other cultures as well as her connection to the natural world, I have discovered a commitment to helping others that is rooted in cultivating and celebrating our connections and “healing with nature in mind” (Buzzel, 2009).

My practice is grounded in the belief that everyone has the capacity to heal, achieve fulfillment, and to be fully present to life experience.
I use an integrative traumatic informed approach, which focuses on issues of PTSD, traumatic death and grief, and interpersonal relationships. I see individuals, couples, and adolescents from ages 12 and up. With a calm, attuned presence, I draw on mindfulness and nature based therapies to provide a safe, comfortable, collaborative experience.
I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship that provides an environment for self exploration and personal growth. I welcome the opportunity to walk with you through your journey of personal growth and healing of mind, body, and spirit.
