Eddie Whipp's Dining Hall

Eddie Whipp's is a family owned and operated Bar & Restaurant that has been in the Whipp family for over 90 years! The business was started by Joe Whipp in 1922 where it began as a tavern, Eddie (Joe's eldest son) took over in 1940. Eddie married his wife Dorothy in 1944 and within a few years they began to serve a fish fry on Friday nights and also started holding wedding receptions. The couple added on Sunday night family style chicken dinners in the 1960's. Mark (one of Eddie & Dorothy's 5 children) and his wife Louise took over the business in 1986 and carried on the tradition. Eddie Whipp's has been a fixture in the community of Poland for so long that Joe's great grandchildren are now working at Whipp's! Eddie's had been a labor of love for many years, Thank you for your patronage!
